Beautiful old and attractive hotel, I loved its very central location near to centre of Cochem, the local attractions and the famous castle. The room with four beds in a separate house. Extra touches like central heating and multi-channel TV were a treat, staff were very friendly and excellent. My stay was VERY NICE here.

The location of the hotel was very central, so close to a huge tourist area, the center of town, and center. I tried quick meals at Der Bacchuskeller, within 300 feet of the property.

We had an early departure on a Saturday, but the lovely lady in charge made breakfast available an hour earlier just for us. The buffet was amazing, with eggs, bacon, sausage, and more. The restaurant with its terrace overlooking the Mosel was excellent, and we could walk straight up to the famous castle. The staff were friendly and helpful, arranging a taxi for our boat trip. The rooms, though a little dated, had beautiful wood carved bedframes, and the balcony view was breathtaking. A super pet-friendly hotel with a parking garage nearby. We'll definitely stay here again!
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

Spent Christmas at an old building facing the waterfront. Excellent location, walking distance to the castle and town. the waiter was super helpful, even accommodating our dietary restrictions. They served delicious local wines and the breakfast had a good variety. appreciated the clean facilities and the fact they allowed pets.
The soundproofing was not great, could hear the early morning activity in the hotel. the room was on the smaller side.
